The 2022-2025 Impact Report confirms the contribution of the Enterprise Europe Network to strengthening the competitiveness of European SMEs, through targeted services in innovation, internationalisation, digital transition and sustainability
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) published its 2022–2025 Impact Report, which highlights the network's contribution to enhancing the competitiveness, innovation and internationalisation of European SMEs. Co-funded by the European Commission under the Single Market Programme, the network brings together more than 560 organisations and over 3,000 experts across more than 55 countries, including chambers of commerce, regional development agencies, innovation hubs, technology centres and universities.
The report confirms EEN's role as the reference platform for business support at the European level thanks to its ability to combine territorial proximity, specialist expertise and access to international networks. The results recorded over the 2022–2025 period demonstrate a significant impact: 84% of businesses supported in accessing international markets introduced products or services in a new country, whilst 90% of those guided through innovation pathways developed new or improved products, services or processes.
The report also notes that the green and digital transitions are central areas of the network's work: 91% of businesses supported have taken action to reduce their environmental impact, and 88% have implemented new digital solutions. Satisfaction levels are also high: 99% of SMEs surveyed rate the network's services as good or of high quality, whilst 91% consider them to have responded very effectively to their needs.
The report further underlines the network's growing international reach, with a presence in strategic markets such as Japan, the United States, Brazil, India, South Korea and Singapore. Through these contact points, EEN broadens opportunities for European SMEs beyond the single market, facilitating commercial, technological and research partnerships.
