EUROCHAMBRES

Founded in 1958 following the creation of the European Economic Community, Eurochambres is the association of Chambers of Commerce and the business community. Through its members, it represents over 20 million businesses and a network of 1,700 regional and local chambers across Europe.

Eurochambres is the leading voice of the business community at EU level, with its work rooted in the Chambers' strong links to the real economy and their operational support for entrepreneurs. Member businesses—over 93% of which are SMEs—employ more than 120 million people.

In this regard, Eurochambres is committed to representing Chambers of Commerce and their member companies before the European Institutions, identifying relevant joint activities, and promoting capacity building within the European chamber network.

Based on regular consultations with its members, Eurochambres represents the interests of European business to the Institutions, while managing and coordinating various projects for the benefit of both the Chambers and the wider economic community. The role of the Chambers is consistently promoted through ongoing communication activities, a strong media presence, and high-profile events.
