As part of the 2026 System Initiative, Unioncamere Europa, in collaboration with APRE – the Italian Agency for the Promotion of European Research, is organising a training programme dedicated to Horizon Europe.
The initiative aims to strengthen the skills of the Italian Chamber System in navigating the opportunities offered by the programme, analysing calls for proposals and developing European project proposals, while also providing an overview of the main legal and financial aspects related to participation in Horizon Europe projects.
The first two online sessions will take place on 21 and 22 September 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00.
The first session will focus on the development and implementation of Horizon Europe project proposals, including the analysis of calls, the definition of objectives, methodology, work plans and risk management. The second session will address the impact dimension, including expected results, target groups, dissemination, exploitation and communication activities, as well as project sustainability and scalability.
The sessions will be delivered by Bruno Mourenza and Mathilde De Bonis from APRE.
The training programme will continue in October, with two further online sessions on 20 and 21 October 2026, dedicated to the main legal and financial aspects of Horizon Europe, including participation rules, the Model Grant Agreement and project cost categories.
The programme is designed exclusively for professionals within the Italian Chamber System who wish to strengthen their practical knowledge of Horizon Europe and European project development.
The training sessions will be held in Italian and are reserved for representatives and staff of the Italian Chamber System.
