OggiEuropa | Innovation and competitiveness in Europe: the Scoreboard results and the European Innovation Act’s response

The OggiEuropa webinar series, organised by Unioncamere Europa, continues with a new session dedicated to European policies for innovation and competitiveness.

Taking place on 9 October 2026, from 11:00 to 12:30, the webinar, entitled “Innovation and competitiveness in Europe: the Scoreboard results and the European Innovation Act’s response”, will explore Europe’s innovation landscape, linking the findings of the European Innovation Scoreboard to the European policy response.

Diana Marcello, Senior Policy Advisor at Unioncamere Europa, will open the session with a welcome and an introduction to the webinar’s objectives, before presenting the state of innovation in Europe through the European Innovation Scoreboard results.

Grazia Covotta, Junior Policy Officer at Unioncamere Europa, will then explore the European Innovation Act, examining its role in the European response to innovation challenges.

The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session, giving participants the opportunity to discuss the topics covered with the speakers.

The event forms part of Unioncamere Europa’s ongoing efforts to keep the Chamber network informed about key developments in European Union policies.
