Find Your Tender: technology and advisory services to bring companies closer to European public tenders
05/10/26
Find Your Tender helps Italian companies identify the European public tenders most relevant to their business profile. Combining smart matching technology with training and advisory support from Promos Italia, the platform aims to make EU procurement opportunities more accessible, structured and manageable for SMEs.

Every year, more than 250,000 public authorities across the European Union purchase goods, works and services worth around €2,600 billion - roughly 15% of the EU's GDP - with more than 800,000 tender notices published annually on the TED portal alone, worth over €815 billion. That is a potentially very significant market for Italian companies, yet one that remains difficult to keep track of, especially for smaller businesses.
The sheer volume of information available, the complexity of the documentation, and the need to monitor different sources and markets make it genuinely time-consuming to identify the procedures that truly match each company's profile. The opportunities are there, and SMEs do win their fair share at European level - yet Italian companies still rarely take part in tenders outside Italy. That is precisely the gap that Find Your Tender, Promos Italia's new platform designed to help Italian companies access European procurement opportunities, sets out to fill.
Through a profiling questionnaire and a proprietary smart-matching algorithm, the service identifies, for each company, the European tenders most closely aligned with its sector of activity, products and services, and markets of interest. The aim is to move from a generalist search for calls to targeted monitoring, cutting scouting times and widening the range of opportunities that can potentially be captured. This digital matching is complemented by Promos Italia's support through training, advisory services, assistance with participation, pitching and partner search.
Few months after its launch, the platform has already reached over 350 registered companies, spread across 26 Italian provinces. 72% of them show high platform engagement, and half have at least nine employees - a proxy the project uses to flag businesses better equipped to handle a tender procedure. Agri-food, construction and furniture, ICT and business services are the most represented sectors, followed by mechanics, fashion, tourism and healthcare.
The results of these first months therefore point to genuine interest among companies in a service that combines automation, personalization and advisory support: 90% of companies surveyed found the service valuable and 85% plan to keep using it.
In a European market rich in opportunities but challenging to navigate - and soon to be reshaped by the EU's proposed Public Procurement Act - Find Your Tender aims to turn tender monitoring from an occasional, scattered activity into a structured process, accessible to SMEs too.
