Promoting the development of the territory and its businesses (440 thousand, to date, are those registered in the Business Register) and improving the quality of life of citizens: this is the objective that guides the work of the Rome Chamber of Commerce.
An institution that, choosing the “culture of doing”, has decided to invest its resources and knowledge to create an attractive, competitive and cutting-edge territorial context, equipped with modern tangible and intangible infrastructures and first-rate services.
Thanks to the “common feeling” of the associative representation that sits on its governing bodies, in recent years the Rome Chamber has promoted the creation of infrastructures that are decisive for the modernization of the city, such as the Technopole System (Tiburtino and Castel Romano), the Agribusiness Center, Fiera Roma and the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
This action has gone hand in hand with a strong commitment to promote the growth of the capital's productive system, through the enhancement of the city's most authentic production chains and vocations, such as innovation, culture and tourism.
The Rome Chamber of Commerce is very active in boosting the competitiveness of businesses through activities of economic information, technical assistance for the creation of start-ups, preparation for international markets, promotion of digitalization and coaching to the digital and ecological transition.
In all these cases, the Chamber of Commerce has often acted in synergy with other local institutions, following a development model based on collaboration, commitment, and attention to the common interest. A model that sees economic development as the key to ensuring greater opportunities and well-being for all citizens, and that aims, therefore, to combine competitiveness and solidarity, economic growth and improved quality of life.
Modernization, human-centeredness, efficiency and effectiveness: these are the guidelines inspiring the daily work of the Rome Chamber of Commerce.
