Unioncamere Piemonte is the association of Chambers of commerce in the region, representing the institutional voices of a system of over 400,000 businesses: it is the gateway to the regional business system and to the national and European network of Chambers of commerce and affiliated companies.
The mission is the promotion and implementation of initiatives to encourage the development and enhancement of the economy and productive sectors of the region, ensuring support and coordination for the activities of the associated Chambers.
These objectives will be pursued by operating on two complementary fronts:
on the institutional front, by providing common services in support of the chamber and entrepreneurial system of the region, also in collaboration with other bodies and institutions, coordinating the use of national and EU programs, plans, and funds;
on the promotional front, representing the chamber system and the regional economy in Italy and abroad: participating in program agreements, entering into agreements, promoting the establishment of and participation in bodies, organizations, and companies that operate in relation to the institutional purposes of the Chambers of Commerce, taking care of and representing their general interests; carrying out studies and research on economic information and training for businesses, in order to guide and support the growth of economic entities in the territory (the beneficiaries are mainly regional Universities, R&D centers and companies, in particular SME)
Unioncamere Piemonte is a partner of the Enterprise Europe Network, that is the largest European business support and innovation network providing integrated high quality services for the benefit of Smes and is a founding member of ALPMED, the cross-border association of the Chambers of Commerce of Liguria, Piedmont, Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur, RhoneAlpes Auvergne, Valle d’Aosta, Corsica and Sardinia, with the primary goal to foster and increase the socioeconomic development of their territories.
