Dossier on European Union Internationalization
eGoverment Dossier
eGovernment represents the set of policies and technologies that enable citizens, businesses, and public administrations to interact securely and efficiently through digital tools. It is not just about digitizing public services, but about creating an interoperable European ecosystem based on trust, transparency, and the protection of personal data.
EU Financial Policy Dossier
The European Union is undergoing a phase of profound reforms in the financial sector, with the aim of combining stability, competitiveness, and innovation. Between 2024 and 2026, fundamental changes will take shape: the new fiscal framework, the full application of Basel III, the start of crypto-asset regulation (MiCA), the entry into force of the DORA regulation for digital resilience, the strengthening of anti-money laundering rules with the new European Authority (AMLA), and a growing commitment to sustainable finance.
Legal Dossier
Legality, understood as respect for laws and regulations, represents an essential foundation for the economic and social development of any society, and even more so within the European Union. For European institutions, businesses, and chambers of commerce, understanding the regulatory framework and available tools is crucial to operating in a transparent and competitive environment.
Single Market Dossier
Since its creation over 30 years ago, the single market has been a powerful catalyst for Europe's growth, prosperity, and solidarity. With 26 million businesses and 450 million consumers, Europe is now the second largest market in the world, with a GDP of €18 trillion representing 18% of the global economy. The European Single Market is the pillar of EU economic integration, founded on the Treaties and regulated by a body of legislation that guarantees the free movement of goods,
Sustainability Dossier
The European Union is undergoing a profound transformation to become a climate-neutral community by 2050. This transition, launched with the European Green Deal, involves all economic sectors and aims to combine environmental sustainability, economic growth, and social inclusion. For SMEs, it represents both a regulatory challenge and a strategic opportunity.
Women’s Entrepreneurship Dossier
Women's entrepreneurship constitutes a strategic resource for the European Union but remains underrepresented in numbers. Women represent about 52% of the EU's population, but only 34.4% of self-employed workers are women. Similarly, only 30% of entrepreneurs starting up businesses are women. Furthermore, in 2024, start-ups founded or co-founded by women in Europe raised approximately €5.76 billion through 1,305 investment rounds, a figure representing 12% of the total venture capital invested in companies of all types.
